Role Overview
The Vice President of Operations is a senior executive role responsible for leading and optimizing all operational functions across the company. This is a full-time, onsite position based in Los Angeles, requiring close, hands-on collaboration with leadership, manufacturing partners, and internal teams.
This role requires a highly experienced operations leader who can think strategically while executing decisively. The VP of Operations will be accountable for building scalable systems, improving margins, and ensuring operational excellence across the business.
Responsibilities
- Own and improve end-to-end operational workflows
- Design, implement, and enforce SOPs, systems, and performance standards
- Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and cost leaks — then fix them
- Lead and manage operations teams with clear KPIs and accountability
- Partner closely with Finance on forecasting, budgeting, and cost control
- Ensure operational alignment with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams
- Oversee supply chain, vendors, inventory, and fulfillment performance
- Prepare the organization for scale through process standardization and automation
- Provide clear reporting and insights to executive leadership
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of operations experience
- Proven experience leading teams through managers, not just individual contributors
- Strong understanding of operational systems, workflows, and performance metrics
- Experience building, documenting, and enforcing SOPs and operational standards
- Ability to drive accountability and execution across cross-functional teams
- Experience working closely with executive leadership on operational planning and reporting
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Experience in manufacturing, DTC, or product-based businesses preferred
